24 JunLaunch of SIDRA IDR Survey Final Report 2020 - 3 July 2020
Why is international commercial arbitration more popular amongst legal users (lawyers and legal advisers) than client users (corporate executives and in-house counsel)?
Why is cost a key, but not crucial factor in the choice of dispute resolution mechanism amongst users?
What is the key factor influencing choice of arbitrator amongst users?
What is the most important factor amongst client users in selecting mediation as a dispute resolution mechanism?
SIDRA will discussing these issues at the launch of its International Dispute Resolution Survey Final Report 2020 on 3 July 2020 from 4pm. The Survey findings reflect the preferences, experiences, practices and perspectives of international dispute resolution users around the globe, and the respondents are all either client users (corporate executives and in-house counsel) or legal users (lawyers and legal advisers) who engage in cross-border commercial dispute resolution.
We have an esteemed panel lined up to discuss the Survey including Daryl Chew, Antony Cook, Wong Taur-Jiun, Justice Anselmo Reyes, George Lim SC, Camilla Godman, Michael Peer, and the Survey authors. Come and join us to hear what they have to say!
