SIDRA is pleased to welcome Vakhtang Giorgadze to the SIDRA family.  Vakhtang, a lawyer from Georgia, joins us as Research Associate and will focus his research on the Singapore Mediation Convention.  His full bio is below.  Please stay tuned as we will be introducing the SIDRA family through our blog in the next few weeks.

Vakhtang Giorgadze (Research Associate)

Vakhtang is a qualified lawyer from Georgia with experience in international economic law and dispute resolution.

Vakhtang’s experience includes working as an associate at MG Law Office in Tbilisi, Georgia, where he was focusing on international commercial agreements and dispute resolution.

Vakhtang spent one year at the World Trade Organization as a young professional, where he advised a WTO panel on the resolution of an international trade dispute. His experience also includes working as a legal adviser of the EU Law Department at the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, where he was involved in the implementation of the Association Agreement between the EU and Georgia.

Vakhtang holds an LL.B. from Free University of Tbilisi and an LL.M. from the MIDS – Master in International Dispute Settlement programme, which is a joint programme of University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. He participated in Willem C. Vis Moot in Vienna and FDI Moot in London. Vakhtang is a member of the Georgian Bar Association.
