On 2 March 2023, the Singapore International Dispute Resolution Academy (SIDRA) and 39 Essex Chambers organised an evening discussing the findings of the Singapore International Dispute Resolution Academy (SIDRA)'s Survey 2022, and reforms to the English Arbitration Act. Hannah Fry, Philippe Kuhn and Vivek Kapoor gave views for and against themes in reform such as the right of appeal on a point of law and on jurisdictional challenges, moderated by Grace Cheng 鄭子欣. Tan Xi'en Rachel also presented on the international arbitration findings within the SIDRA Survey 2022, and on the factors users considered important in selecting the choice of seat in international arbitration. We were so pleased to see friends from law firms and institutions join us in person for this event and would like to give special thanks to Grace Cheng 鄭子欣 and the team from 39 Essex Chambers for their wonderful hosting and organisation.
