The article highlights the Covid-19 Protocol by the Singapore International Mediation Centre, which could allow for a mediation to be organised within 10 working days. Mr George Lim (Senior Counsel and Chairman of the Singapore International Mediation Centre) has written an article for the Straits Times on how mediation should be the first port of call for legal disputes to improve chances of business recovery. This is so even if parties think that they have a strong case for litigation. The article also mentions that SIMC and the Singapore International Dispute Resolution Academy were respectively set up to act as a mediation standards and accreditation body, and to provide research and thought leadership in dispute resolution.

Some of you may worry about retention or getting offered a position as an associate. Some of you may still be seeking a training contract.
